The Sensor Kit is compatible with Raspeberry PI as well as Arduino Programmer setups !
Our simplest coding kit, for movers, shakers, and makers. Make music and games, controlled by waving and swiping your hand. Learn to code with 30 step-by-step challenges, and play with endless community creations.
Can I play with 2 Sensors at once?
Yes! As long as you have USB ports available, you can add as many Motion Sensor Kits as you’d like. Use them together for multiplayer games, to create orchestras, and keep two hands busy.
What is the recommended age for the Motion Sensor Kit?
The Motion Sensor Kit can be enjoyed by everyone, beginners and experienced makers of all ages. Typically, we recommend a starting point for beginners aged 6+, but children who can read/write might start earlier.
Is adult supervision necessary with the Motion Sensor Kit?
Children aged 6-8 years may need some parental supervision, reading the storybook, and assembling the components. Other than that, no... unless adults in the room want to learn more about code!
How does it work?
The Motion Sensor Kit measures distance and direction. It knows how close your hand (or other objects) is and turns this into data a computer can understand. The sensor connects to Mac, PC, Kano Computer Kit, and Pixel Kit.
